Accessibility review starter bundle

Review a form journey with manual keyboard checks and targeted automated testing.

A focused review of interactive web forms. It is not a complete accessibility audit or a conformance certification.

Download the reference plan

Reference manifest only: selection notes, skill IDs, and public catalog links. No skill bodies, executable code, credentials, or host configuration are included. Downloading does not install or enable skills.

Markdown is a reading plan; JSON is a SkillDB reference manifest. Neither is a host-specific install package.

Why these skills fit together

Accessible Forms covers labels and error semantics; Keyboard Navigation covers operation and focus order; Axe Testing checks detectable DOM issues. Keyboard guidance overlaps deliberately so the manual review is not lost when automated checks pass.

  1. 1. Labels and error recovery

    Accessible Forms

Use its form patterns to inspect accessible names, grouped inputs, instructions, and error recovery.

Review note: This reference covers form patterns, not every accessibility requirement for the surrounding page.

  2. 2. Manual interaction review

    Keyboard Navigation

Provides a keyboard walkthrough and focus-order checks for native controls and custom widgets.

Review note: Widget snippets are partial. Validate the complete widget pattern, including associated panels and focus restoration.

  3. 3. Automated regression checks

    Axe Testing

Shows how to inspect violations and incomplete results and combine automated checks with manual review.

Review note: The example disables a contrast rule; keep applicable rules enabled unless a documented equivalent check exists. A clean report is not proof of accessibility.

Try a representative task

Review a sample checkout form with invalid input, an expanded dialog, and a successful confirmation state.

  • Complete the journey using a keyboard, checking visible focus and return focus after closing a dialog.
  • Check labels and error announcements with a screen reader, including validation and success states.
  • Run automated checks on each state and record manual findings alongside automated results.

This evaluation has not been run. Compare the same task with and without these references using the same environment and checks, and record outcomes before claiming an improvement.
