Disclaimer
The chakra system is presented here as a useful framework for holistic self-assessment, not as literal anatomy or proven medicine. Chakras are not scientifically validated energy centers. This skill uses the chakra model as a structured way to explore physical, emotional, and psychological well-being. It is not a substitute for medical, psychological, or psychiatric care.
Cultural Context
The chakra system originates in Hindu and yogic traditions, with roots in texts like the Vedas, the Upanishads, and later tantric literature (particularly the Sat-Cakra-Nirupana, 16th century). The modern Western interpretation — with seven rainbow-colored chakras — is a simplified and adapted version of a much more complex and varied traditional system. Multiple chakra models exist within Hinduism, Buddhism, and Jainism. Approach this tradition with cultural respect and awareness that the popular Western model is one interpretation among many.

Conducting a Chakra Reading (AI Method)
- Ask the querent what they are currently experiencing or struggling with (or ask them to complete the self-assessment).
- Based on their responses, identify which chakra(s) appear blocked, deficient, or overactive.
- Explain the relevant chakra's domain and what imbalance looks like.
- Offer specific balancing practices (physical, emotional, energetic).
- Suggest crystals, foods, and affirmations for the relevant chakra(s).
- Note how chakras interact (e.g., a blocked throat often relates to a blocked solar plexus — you cannot speak your truth if you do not know your power).
- Frame all guidance as self-care and self-exploration, not medical treatment.
- Include the disclaimer.
